RecruitProfiles ("RecruitProfiles," "we," "us") is operated by Live Flatout LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Use the Help button in the app, or email us at help@liveflatout.org.
Who this is for
RecruitProfiles lets a parent or athlete build a recruiting profile that college coaches can view. The paying customer is the adult (parent/guardian) or athlete who creates and controls the account. College coaches who view a profile are anonymous visitors — they don't create accounts with us.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account: your email address and password (passwords are handled by our authentication provider; we never see them in plain text).
- Profile content you choose to publish: the athlete's name, graduation year, position, school, measurables, tool grades, stats, photos, video links, schedule, teams, academics, and the contact details you enter. Some of this describes the athlete, who may be a minor — see Children's privacy below.
- Communications: messages you send us and coach-outreach content you create in the dashboard.
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data: pages viewed, actions taken, browser/device type, approximate location (from IP — we don't store precise location), and referring source.
- Product analytics & session replay (on our app pages — the dashboard, sign-in, and marketing site): we use PostHog to understand how customers use the app, including replays of app sessions. Text you type into form fields is masked. We do not run analytics or session replay on the public athlete-profile pages that coaches view.
- Anti-abuse: we use reCAPTCHA / Firebase App Check on some endpoints to block bots.
Payment information
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your card details directly — we never receive or store your full card number.
The public nature of published profiles
When you publish a profile, it is intentionally public — it lives at a web address a coach (or anyone with the link, and search engines) can view. Don't put anything on a profile you wouldn't want public. Unpublished drafts are private and marked "no-index." You can unpublish at any time.
How we use information
- Provide, operate, and secure the service and your profile.
- Process your subscription and send service/billing notifications.
- Send you (and, where you enable it, coach-visit) alerts you've asked for.
- Understand usage and improve the product.
- Prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with law.
We do not sell your personal information and don't use it for third-party advertising.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Children's privacy
RecruitProfiles is intended to be set up and managed by a parent, guardian, or an athlete of appropriate age — not by young children. Accounts must be created by a person 13 or older. Where a profile describes a minor athlete, the parent/guardian (or eligible athlete) is responsible for the content they publish and for having the right to publish it. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Data retention
We keep your account and profile data while your account is active. After you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your data within 30 days, and purge it from routine backups within 90 days — except records we must retain for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Your choices & rights
- Access / edit: most of your data is directly viewable and editable in the dashboard.
- Delete / export: contact us to request deletion or a copy of your data.
- Unpublish: you can make your profile private any time from the dashboard.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, correction, deletion, portability). Contact us to exercise them.
Security
We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, server-side authorization). No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
International users
We operate in the United States and use US-based providers (including PostHog US). If you access RecruitProfiles from outside the US, your information is processed in the US.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date above.
